The Brief
Tourism Greater Geelong & The Bellarine (TGGB) needed to develop and deliver a creative articulation of the brand position of the Geelong and The Bellarine region and the unique precincts within it. The campaign needed to work in tourism marketing efforts across the region—whether at a campaign scale or smaller, tactical messages from local operators—with the aim to attract visitors whilst increasing the broader brand awareness and appeal of the region.

Ruck developed a campaign that combined a clever copywriting platform with iconic visual elements, based on the idea that a place is greater than the sum of its parts.
The Greater Geelong and Bellarine region lends itself to a greater visitor experience. Greater than your expectations, greater than you could ever imagine. Driving this positioning idea is the re-purposing of the Greater Than symbol across design.
